Launching a health app: listing, website, ASO and SEO

Summary

EPSpeak is a medication and symptom companion app for people taking antidepressant or antipsychotic medication, built by an Australian client. Ceylond prepared the app store listing, designed and built the website at epspeak.co, and handled app store optimisation (ASO) and search engine optimisation (SEO), so people looking for help understanding side effects can find it.

The brief

The challenge.

A sensitive health product needed to reach people who often do not have the words for what they are experiencing. The listing and website had to be calm, trustworthy and clear about what the app does and does not do, while still ranking for the searches people actually make.

Approach

How we approached it.

  1. 01

Search what people say, not what doctors write

Keyword and question research built around everyday descriptions of side effects, as well as the clinical terms.

  2. 02

    A calm, clinical-warm design

Soft sage tones, rounded device mockups and floating feature chips that explain the app in seconds.

  3. 03

    Answer-first content

Sections open with direct answers to the questions people ask, supported by structured data for search and AI answers.

  4. 04

One story across store and site

Store listing, screenshots and website copy written as one voice, so the message matches wherever people find it.

The build

  • Google Play store listing
  • Marketing website at epspeak.co
  • App store optimisation for discoverability
  • On-page and technical SEO with structured data
  • Content explaining the app, privacy and data handling

EPSpeak on a phone

Designed phone-first. Most visitors arrive on a phone, so every layout, tap target and image is tuned for small screens before desktop.

Outcome

Where it is now.

EPSpeak is live on Google Play, with the App Store listed as coming soon. The website explains a difficult subject in plain language and gives people a clear next step.
