Who it is for

Sound familiar?

If any of these ring true, this service was built for you.
  • 01

Your store gets traffic from ads but almost none from Google.

  • 02

Product pages use the supplier’s description, word for word.

  • 03

Filters, variants and collections create hundreds of duplicate pages.

  • 04

Ten apps later, your store is slow on a phone.

01 / Ecommerce and Shopify SEO

Is Shopify good for SEO?

Yes, for most small and mid-size stores. Shopify generates the sitemap, canonical tags and mobile-friendly themes for you, and lets you edit titles, descriptions and robots.txt. Its limits are fixed URL paths (/products/ and /collections/), duplicate URLs from collections and variants, and slow pages caused by too many apps.

Because we design and code custom Shopify themes, as we did for Noirelle Premium, we fix these at template level instead of installing another app.

02 / Ecommerce and Shopify SEO

Collection pages, product pages and duplicate content

Most ecommerce SEO gains come from collection pages, which match category searches such as "linen summer dresses". We give each collection a clear title, a short helpful introduction and answers to common questions, then handle out-of-stock items, filters and variants so they do not create thin or duplicate pages.

  • Collection titles and intros
  • Product descriptions in your voice
  • Variant and filter URLs controlled
  • Out-of-stock handling
  • Image alt text
  • Internal links from guides

Questions

Your questions, answered.

What is the difference between ecommerce SEO and normal SEO?

Ecommerce SEO works on hundreds or thousands of templated pages rather than a few service pages. Most of the gain comes from collection pages that match category searches, product data and schema that feed Google Shopping and rich results, and handling out-of-stock items, filters and variants without creating thin or duplicate pages.

Do I need a Shopify SEO app?

Usually not many. Shopify already handles sitemaps and canonicals, and many SEO apps add scripts that slow the store. We start with what the theme and Shopify settings can do, then add one app only when it fills a real gap, such as bulk image alt text or structured data the theme lacks.

How long does ecommerce SEO take to show results?

Technical fixes and better collection pages often show in Search Console within six to twelve weeks, and steady growth in organic revenue usually takes four to six months. It depends on your niche, catalogue size and competitors, so we report organic sessions and revenue monthly rather than promising a date.

Is WordPress or Shopify better for SEO?

Both can rank well. WordPress with WooCommerce gives more control over URLs and content, while Shopify is simpler and faster to run but has fixed URL paths. For most small stores, the quality of collection pages, product content and site speed matters far more than the platform.

Can you do SEO for a store you did not build?

Yes. We start with an audit of your theme, apps and content, fix what is holding the store back, and work with your existing developer if you have one. If the theme itself is the problem, we will tell you what it would cost to fix.
