Who it is for
Sound familiar?
- 01
People add products to the cart and leave, and nothing follows them up.
- 02
You have a list of past customers and never email them.
- 03
Your emails land in spam, or you are not sure they arrive at all.
- 04
You pay for Klaviyo and use a fraction of it.

01 / Email marketing
The email flows every online store should have
Start with the welcome flow, then abandoned cart or checkout, browse abandonment and post-purchase. These run on their own once built, and they reach people who have already shown interest. Our flow setup builds all four, with up to 12 emails, plus a signup form.
- Welcome series
- Abandoned cart and checkout
- Browse abandonment
- Post-purchase and reviews
- Win-back for lapsed customers
- Back-in-stock alerts

Klaviyo, Mailchimp or Shopify Email: which one fits you
Shopify Email is cheaper and simpler, with 10,000 free emails a month, and suits small stores sending a few campaigns. Klaviyo has deeper segmentation, more flow logic and SMS, which matters as your list and range grow; its free plan covers 250 active profiles. Mailchimp suits service businesses and newsletters.
We recommend one based on your list size, budget and how much automation you need. The platform bills you directly, so the account and your data stay yours.

Consent and the rules
Australia’s Spam Act, the UK’s PECR and GDPR, and US CAN-SPAM all regulate marketing email. You need consent for the people you email and a clear unsubscribe in every message. We set forms and footers up correctly, but responsibility for your list stays with you.

Questions
Your questions, answered.
Which email flows should an ecommerce store set up first?
Start with the welcome flow, then abandoned cart or checkout, browse abandonment and post-purchase. These run on their own once built and reach people who have already shown interest. Our flow setup builds all four, with up to 12 emails, plus a signup form.
Is Klaviyo or Shopify Email better?
Shopify Email is cheaper and simpler, and suits small stores sending a few campaigns. Klaviyo has deeper segmentation, more flow logic and SMS, which matters as your list and range grow. We recommend one based on your list size, budget and how much automation you need.
Do I pay for Klaviyo separately?
Yes. Klaviyo, Mailchimp and Shopify Email bill you directly, so the account and your data stay yours. Our fee covers strategy, copy, design, build and reporting. Klaviyo’s free plan covers 250 active profiles, and paid tiers scale with list size.
How long does it take to set up Klaviyo flows?
A four-flow setup usually takes two to four weeks: connecting your store, authenticating your sending domain, writing and designing the emails, and testing every trigger. The longest delays are usually waiting for brand assets and access to your domain settings.
Why do my emails go to spam?
The usual causes are a sending domain without SPF, DKIM and DMARC records, emailing people who did not sign up, and sending to old, inactive lists. We fix authentication first, clean the list, and warm up sending gradually.
