UI/UX design for web apps and mobile apps, in Figma
Designed to be built, not just admired.
Short answer
Ceylond designs web apps, mobile apps and design systems in Figma for startups, small businesses and agencies. 01 / UI/UX design
Design systems in Figma
A design system is a shared library of colours, type, spacing and components, with rules for using them. You need one when several people design or build screens, or when you have more than one product. We set it up with Figma variables and code-ready names, so it maps to your front-end code.
02 / UI/UX design
Design that developers can build
Our developers build in Next.js and Shopify every day, so they check feasibility while the design is still in Figma, not after. You can build with us, or take the files to your own team.
- Feasibility checked during design
- Named components and tokens
- Responsive and mobile variants
- Accessibility basics: contrast, focus, tap targets
- Annotated specs
- Optional build by our team

Launch offer
Founding client offer
Our first five clients in each country get 20% off the first three months of any monthly plan, or 15% off a website, Shopify or software project. In return we ask for an honest review and permission to publish the results.

Questions
Your questions, answered.
How long does it take to design an app in Figma?
A single flow of up to 8 screens usually takes one to two weeks. A full product of around 25 screens takes four to six weeks, depending on how quickly feedback comes back. Design systems take three to five weeks, and we agree milestones up front.
What is a design system and do I need one?
A design system is a shared library of colours, type, spacing and components, with rules for using them. You need one when several people design or build screens, or when you have more than one product. Small single-flow projects usually only need a lightweight component set.
Can you build what you design?
Yes. Our developers build web apps and websites in Next.js and Shopify, so designs are checked for feasibility during design. You can also take the Figma files to your own developers; handoff includes named components, tokens and annotated specs.
Do you do user research and usability testing?
We include light testing with prototypes as standard. Formal user research and moderated usability testing are quoted as add-ons, because they depend on who your users are and how many sessions you need.
Do you design mobile apps for iOS and Android?
Yes. We design mobile app interfaces following iOS and Android patterns, with variants for each where they differ. For building the app itself, see our mobile app development service.
